Altilia has been named a Major Player in intelligent document processing and agentic AI by both Gartner and IDC. We are the only Italian platform, and one of a small number of European ones, to appear in these global assessments. The recognition matters less as a badge than as confirmation of a thesis: that a sovereign, semantic operating system for agentic AI, built in Europe for regulated industries, competes on capability with anything the hyperscalers offer.

What the assessments cover

Analysts evaluate vendors on the depth of their document understanding, the breadth of the process automation they support, their ability to orchestrate agents at enterprise scale, and the evidence that customers run them in production. They also look at deployment options, security certifications and the roadmap. Altilia's position reflects four specific strengths.

Most enterprise AI is bought from vendors whose economics depend on the cloud. For a European bank or insurer, that creates a structural tension between capability and sovereignty: the most capable tools are the ones that cannot run inside the perimeter. What comes next

We will keep doing what earned the recognition: shipping agents that run whole business processes, extending the catalogue across banking, credit servicing, insurance, asset management, compliance, public administration, healthcare and energy, and bringing the operating system to more regulated institutions across Europe. The thesis has been validated. The work is to scale it.
